Welcome to West Coast Neuro. Led by our co-founder, exercise physiologist Joel Latham, West Coast Neuro was born from Joel’s passion for helping people with neurological conditions live full, active lives. That passion now extends across every stage of life, from early intervention for children with complex conditions, through to ongoing rehabilitation and support for adults. We’re thrilled to keep sharing that passion as we build our community. Join us as we grow.
West Coast Neuro brings together occupational therapy, physiotherapy and exercise physiology under one roof. Rather than juggling separate providers in separate locations, our team works together on a single, coordinated plan, sharing insights across disciplines so your therapy joins up, rather than existing in silos. For families managing a complex diagnosis, or anyone balancing multiple therapy needs, that coordination can make a real difference to both outcomes and day-to-day convenience.
Alongside our core services, we offer a wide range of specialty services, from equipment-based techniques through to more specialised, condition-specific programs. Our clinic is equipped for exactly the kind of therapy that’s hard, or impossible, to do independently at home: specialised equipment, hands-on techniques, and a space built for the work itself.
We also know therapy doesn’t always belong in a clinic. Depending on what best supports your goals, we offer both clinic-based and community-based therapy, meeting you at home, in the community, or wherever makes the most sense for what you’re working towards.
Good outcomes rarely happen in isolation, so we work closely with external services too, other allied health providers, medical and specialist teams, and equipment providers, to keep everyone involved in your care on the same page. Whether that’s liaising with your paediatrician, coordinating with a speech pathologist, or working alongside an equipment supplier to get a wheelchair fitted just right, we see this collaboration as part of the job, not an afterthought.
Our purpose-built clinic is based in the northern suburbs of Perth, in Balcatta. It’s a fun, motivating environment where you’ll be inspired by our team and the other clients working alongside you, including, for our youngest clients, a space designed to feel encouraging rather than clinical.
