Exercise Physiology for Stroke

What is a stroke and how will this condition affect me?

A stroke occurs when blood flow to the brain is disrupted, resulting in damage to brain cells and sudden neurological deficits. These deficits vary depending on the severity and location of brain damage and can include weakness or paralysis, speech difficulties, memory and thinking challenges, and emotional changes.

We collaborate closely with both you and your team to help you reach your goals. Our clients include individuals who have experienced a stroke ranging from a few weeks to a decade ago. While there’s a common belief that progress may stagnate three months post-stroke, we share Henry Hoffman’s sentiment from Saebo: “It’s not the patient that plateaus, it’s their treatment options that do.”
