West Coast Neuro was developed around one thing: genuine specialisation in neurological conditions with a multidisciplinary team with specialised equipment. That same lens now extends to our youngest clients. Our paediatric physiotherapy service supports children with cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, spina bifida, Down syndrome, and rare genetic or neurological conditions, as well as babies and toddlers who simply need a little extra support to get moving with confidence.
We offer both clinic-based and home-based paediatric therapy, so your child is seen in whichever environment helps them do their best and work towards their goals.
- Early Intervention Assessment: Comprehensive review of gross motor development, muscle tone and movement patterns from newborn through toddler years.
- Serial Casting: Gradual, hands-on correction of tight joints and muscle contractures, commonly used for children with cerebral palsy and related conditions.
- Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI): An intensive, activity-based approach that builds strength, control and independent movement through graded, motivating tasks.
- DMO Suiting: prescription of dynamic compression garments providing postural support and sensory feedback to improve stability and movement quality.
- Equipment Prescription: Assessment and prescription of standers, walkers, orthotics, seating and wheelchairs, reviewed regularly as your child grows.
- Plagiocephaly & Torticollis Management: Assessment and hands-on management of flat head shape and neck tightness in infants.

You don’t need a confirmed diagnosis to reach out, early support works best when it starts early.
