Meet Our Physiotherapist Cleo Thornett

Cleo Thornett

Physiotherapist

I am a physiotherapist here at West Coast Neuro, with a special interest in helping those with neurological conditions reach their fullest potential. Whether their goals are big or small, I have a passion for aiding my clients enjoy the activities they love, by providing holistic rehab and exercise programs tailored to each individual.

After completing my Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame, I have been thankful to grow my expertise in private practice, particularly gaining experience providing individualised exercise prescription and pain management. During my studies, I gained invaluable experiences studying all over Western Australia; from Bunbury to Broome and everywhere in between! Throughout this time, my interest in engaging with individuals with neurological conditions, as well as geriatric and paediatric populations, has grown exponentially.

I have been heavily involved in all aspects of sport throughout my entire life, and after spending 4 years on the Australian National Team and competing for my country in Trampolining, I became increasingly interested in injury management – having a personal involvement following the countless injuries I obtained over the years in elite sport. Despite those setbacks, I owe deep gratitude to the physiotherapists that helped me achieve my goals, motivating me to do the same for my clients.

Outside of work, I still remain heavily involved in sport through swimming and playing AFL for my local amateur football club. When I do get the chance to enjoy some down time, I love to read and spend time relaxing at the beach.
